Shadows was a challenge for me, as I usually try to avoid them when I am taking photos so I had a hard time at first in a natural outdoor setting - so I took this assignment inside my office. I had fun with this assignment because I had to be creative in making my subject.

The left photo was taken mid afternoon, soothing and calming. The sun setting gives the clouds a glow showing off its features and lines.

I like the reflection of the sun beaming on the water and especially the right photo with the reflection of the trees.

With the trees bare at this time of year I used photoshop in giving my image character and color utilizing the painting effect.
